Ronald E. Staron, 63, Played Guitar and Harmonica

He was born March 29, 1946 in Cleveland and has been a Huron resident since 1997 moving from Brownhelm.
He worked on the line at Ford Motor Co. Lorain and most recently Avon Lake for 13 years, retiring in 2002.
He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He had played guitar and the harmonica in a country music band. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening, fishing, music and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 14 1/2 years, Mary Staron; father, Frank Staron of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Wilcheck of Cardington, Ohio, Robin (Jeff) Miller of Valley City, and Alicia (Tony) Kelley of Berlin Hts.; sons, Bryant Maus of Sandusky and Jason (Erin) Maus of Reynoldsburg; 7 grandchildren: Emily Curtiss, Amanda and Jeff Miller, Samantha, Amber, and Jada Maus, and Kaitlyn Kelley; brothers, Franklyn Staron of Brunswick and Mark Staron of Hinckley; and sisters, Barbara Staron of Cleveland, and Christine Stell of LaGrange.
Preceding him in death was his mother Helen (Stanislaw) Staron.
Friends may call Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio with Sister Claudia Bronsing from St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion, officiating and followed by a AA service.
