Norman Cox, 84, Enjoyed Fishing and Hunting

He was born Feb. 20, 1925 in Sistersville, WV, had lived in Chicago since 1961 and moved to Vermilion in 1994.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. He retired as an inspector for Hollymatic Corporation, Countryside, IL, in 1989 with 27 years of service. Norman enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his stepson, Charles Talbert, Jr. of Bergenfield, NJ; 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cox in 1996; a half sister, Ethel Patterson; a half brother Herb Moore; and his parents, Harley and Zella (Nee Knolton) Cox.
Friends may call Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH 44089 where the Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct military honors. Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Pt. Marian, PA.
