Cynthis Lou Carroll, 63, Enjoyed Spending Time with Family

She was born August 4, 1945 in Norton, VA. She has been a Vermilion resident for the past 45 years moving from Lorain.
She attended Mount Olive Church in Lorain. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, flowers, Elvis Presley movies, watching the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. She also enjoyed girls night, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Howard Carroll, mother, Margie (nee Hall) Jones; 2 daughters, Darlene and her husband Tim Wikel of Huron and Patty L and her husband Ed Moore of Vermilion; 2 sons, Robin "Rob" Scott and his wife Lorraine Pennington of Stockbridge, GA and Emmett "Brady" and his wife Heather Pennington of Brewster; step children Hope Rachelle and her husband Mark Watkin of Amherst, Jimmy and his wife Samantha Copley of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Randy and his wife, Betty Carroll of Lorain, and Kim Russert of Louisville, KY; 17 grandchildren, Rebecca Kelley, Heidi Sultzbaugh, December Gearinger, Robert and Michael Moore, Stephaene Core, Scott, Stephen, Marquese, Myles, and Mason Pennington, Melissa Russert, Nick, Jake and Jeff Watkin, Lisa Carroll, and Jason Kilkenney; 8 Great-Grandchildren; brothers: Robert Jones of Sheffield Lake, Jerome Jones of Oberlin, Tim Jones of Elyria, and Jerry Jones of Elyria; and sisters: Irene Kennedy War, WV, Linda Flynn of Englewood, Florida, and Crystal Frye Jaram of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Grady Emmett Pennington, father, Robert C. "RC" Jones, and her brother David Jones.
Friends may call Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Donald R. New, pastor of New Freedom Gospel Church, Vermilion, will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
