Linda S. Wagner, 69, Enjoyed Fishing and Camping

Photo of Linda S. Wagner Linda S. Wagner, 69, (nee Cain) of Lorain died early Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at her home following a brief illness.

Mrs. Wagner was born near Athens, Ohio on Sept. 14, 1939, the daughter of the late Paul P. and Wilma B (nee Norris) Cain.

She was a graduate of Athens High School, where she was a cheerleader. She also attended Ohio University. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, and crocheting, She was most fond of spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wagner is survived by her daughters Lori A (Dave) Maciejewski of Pataskala, Jennifer L. (Tom) Wagner-Yeager of Lorain, sons: Steve W (Jan) Wagner of Grafton, Bill W (Susan) Wagner of Lakewood, 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Anna Cain of Meigs County, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband William W. Wagner in 1992, twin brothers David and Danny Cain.

Friends may call on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Service at noon in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052. The Rev. Edward J. Luca, pastor emeritus of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township, OH.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 43099 N. Ridge Road Elyria, OH 44035 in her honor.
