Nevertheless she found time to give generously to her community, acting as a leader and volunteer of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio and serving as President of the Board of the Neighborhood House Association.
Known for her wit and wisdom, her intellect and curiosity, her love of literature and poetry, her appreciation of nature and all things living, her knowledge of the contemporary world and historical events, she was actively engaged in life right up to the time of her passing.
While Margaret was blessed in all aspects of her life, she never forgot her roots and her devotion to family. She was an extraordinary mother and grandmother, providing moral direction, values, purpose and meaning to all of their lives. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all of her children and grandchildren.
