Ruby Ann Nyfenger, 88, Enjoyed Collecting Dolls

Ruby Ann Nyfenger (nee Hauvy), 88 of Vermilion, died Monday, June 22, 2009 in Community Health Partners West after a lengthy illness.

She was born Nov. 20, 1920 in Erhart, OH and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 62 years moving from Valley City, OH.

She was a graduate of Belden High School.

She had worked for Basic Foods, Ann's Lunch, White Inn all in Vermilion and General Motors as a press operator in Elyria.

She enjoyed collecting dolls, cooking, baking, traveling, camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Edward Nyfenger; daughter, Laurie (Jeff) Hoopes of Vermilion; and sister Arletta Neumeyer of Erhart, OH.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jacob and Clarabelle (nee Huntley) Haury; step-son Jack Guciardo; brother, Barney Haury; and 4 sisters: Bernadine Tibbitts, Pearl Heckler, Delores Haas, and Celeste Filous.

Private services will be held at Riddle Funeral Home, Vermilion.
