Betty J. Sullivan, 88, Nurse

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 21, 1921, the daughter of the late Carl and Eva (nee Marsh) Kneisel.

She was a graduate of Sandusky High School Class of 1939 and in 1943 the M. B. Johnson School of Nursing, in Elyria. She was the valedictorian of her class and was offered a scholarship to Cornell University.

Mrs. Sullivan retired in 1974 after working for the St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain and Drs. Rusin and Radefeld.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived daughters Patricia A. DeBracy, Nancy G. (James) Molas both of Lorain, Pegi E. (Daniel) Gerbick of Avon Lake, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a half sister Joanne Schaefer of Huron and cousins John and Ruth Gerold.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Kathleen L Sullivan.

Graveside services at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst were private.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, C/O Community Health Partners Foundation 3700 Kolbe Road Lorain, OH 44053-9905.
