Georgia ''Ro'' Rohana Marcum, 75, Enjoyed Bowling & Camping

Photo of Georgia ''Ro'' Rohana Marcum Georgia "Ro" Rohana Marcum (nee Bray), 75, of Vermilion, died Friday, July 3, 2009 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 21, 1934 in Tatesville, KY. She moved to Vermilion in 1951 and had lived in South Amherst, Bacon Woods, and Brownhelm.

She was a charter and life member of AMVETS Auxiliary Post 22 and a life member of V.W.F. Auxillary Post 7576. She enjoyed bowling, camping, bingo, playing cards, and entertaining her family during the holidays.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hubert Marcum; 2 daughters, Janet Sapienza of Amherst and Cynthia Lee (Brian) Callison of Fayetteville, NC; 2 sons, Larry (Debbie) Marcum of Amherst; Garry Marcum of Ft Lauderdale, Florida and Jerry Marcum of Vermilion; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sisters, Rosella Holloway of Tatesville, KY, Elaine Clark of Amherst, Pamela Gray of Lorain, Debbie Green, Amherst and her brothers, Robert Bray, Lorain, Denny Bray, Amherst, and Edward Bray, Louisville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Dickel on May 30, 1996 and her parents, Ottis and Elsie (nee Phelps) Bray; sisters, Geraldine Morrow and Kathryn Bray and brothers, Allen P. Bray and Ottis D. Bray..

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Monday, July 6, 2009, at 11 am. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
