Clarence R. Lesiecki, 73, Enjoyed Sprint & Supermodified Car Racing

He was born August 12, 1935 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Clarence was a 1953 graduate of St. Mary High School in Lorain. He worked at the Ford Assembly Plant in Lorain as an assembler for 24 years retiring in 1986. Prior to that he worked as a clerk at the B&O Railroad.

Clarence was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain and the church Holy Name Society. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s activities, sprint car and super modified car racing and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Lou Lesiecki (nee Mitro), sons: Richard Lesiecki (Karen) of Rocky River, Thomas Lesiecki (Jane) of Amherst Township and David Lesiecki (Diana), of Lorain, grandchildren: Brian, Steven and Sarah Lesiecki, all of Rocky River, Michael, Emma and Maggie Lesiecki, all of Amherst Township and A.J. and Jonathon Lesiecki, both of Lorain and brother Robert Lesiecki (Dolores) of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Marie Lesiecki (nee Demboski).

The family will receive friends Wednesday 2 - 4 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where the St. Stanislaus Holy Name Society will recite the rosary Wednesday at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 2702 Elyria Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Lawrence Martello, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
