Doris Mae Gormley, 60, Enjoyed Playing Canasta
Doris Mae Gormley, (nee Wingrove), age 60, of Lorain, died Sunday August 2nd, 2009 at Community Health Partners Hospital & Surgical Center following a sudden illness.
Doris was born on May 9th, 1949 in Butler Township, Pennsylvania and had been a long-time resident of Lorain.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing Canasta and using her personal home computer.
Mrs. Gormley is survived by her husband of 21 years Daniel B., by her sons Craig, Chris, and Curt all of Lorain, 6 grandchildren, and her sister Juanita Grow residing in Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank F. and Stella (nee Cumberland) Wingrove.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 5th from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Jay Roller, Pastor of Grave Baptist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
