Janice M. Zeidner, 42, LPN

She was born August 16, 1965 in Lorain and raised in Avon. In 2000 she moved to Ohio City, Cleveland and in 2003 to Avon Lake.

Janice was a graduate of Avon High School in 1983 and received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Lorain Community College in 1987. After her graduation Janice worked for Avon Oaks Nursing Home for 10 years. Then, she worked for Franklyn Court Nursing Home in Cleveland for two years.

Janice enjoyed cross stitch, crafts, reading and country music.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of five years Alexander A. Zeidner of Avon Lake; brothers James J. (Nikki) Beres of Lorain and Michael (Susan) Beres of Avon, a sister Katherine Turner of Lorain and many nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents James and Florence (nee Sines) Beres and a brother Bryan Beres.

Her family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home,1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277 8164, Sunday evening at 7:30 PM Rev. Ben Beres will give a prayer service. Janice's funeral service will be Monday with closing prayers at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 41295 North Ridge Road, Elyria Township. The Rev. Father James R. Ols, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
