Elvira M. Price, 87, Enjoyed Spending Time with her Family

She was born Nov. 23, 1921 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Elvira graduated from Lorain High School in 1940. She worked at TRW in Lorain as a data entry person retiring in 1986. Elvira was a member of Al-Anon and enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

She is survived by her children Karen Beuk, Joseph Price (Mary), Peter Price, Patricia Mendoza (Raul) and Tim Price (Tammy), 17 granchildren, 30 great grandchildren and sisters Julia Polgar and Margaret Woodings. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Stempowski, parents Frank & Julia Pagacs, sister Wilma Sims and brother Frank Pagacs during WWII.

The family will receive friends Sunday 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel. The Rev. David A. Novak, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
