Alice H. Falencki, 84, Member of St. Peter Catholic Church
Alice H. Falencki (nee Leshinski), 84 of Lorain, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 at the Jewish Hospital of Louisville, KY following a brief illness.She was born Nov. 27, 1924 in Lorain, Ohio where she lived all of her life.
Alice graduated from Lorain High School and was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Catherine Falencki of Crestwood, Kentucky and granddaughter, Kristen Falencki.
She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Edward J. Falencki in 1972, grandson, Edward J. Falencki III in 1987, parents, Stanley and Helen (nee Chopchinski) Leshinski, sisters, Jean Tomasheski and Lee Vukin and brothers, John Leshinski, Zenon Leshinski and Don Les.
Friends may call Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. They will also receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 from 12 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Fr. Chuck Henkle, OFM Conv., associate pastor at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
