Carolyn S. McKinney, 62, Volunteer Auxiliary Member at CHP Hospital
Carolyn S. McKinney age 62 of Lorain, died Wednesday Sept. 2, 2009 in Community Health Partners Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born March 9, 1947 in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. McKinney was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorain, and was a teacher for their Bible Seekers. She was also a member of the volunteer auxiliary at Community Health Partners Hospital for more than forty years.
She was a Lorain High School graduate.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Mack McKinney, children Sherlene Roush of Lorain, David McKinney of Winnipeg, Canada, Millie Mae Papay of Lorain, and Ilene Ransom of Lorain.
She has nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Jean Conner.
Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Jack Ison will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
