Phyllis A. Csincsak, 62, Dental Assistant

Phyllis A. Csincsak (nee Martin), age 62, of Lorain, died Thursday Oct. 8th at Community Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Phyllis was born in Lorain on Sept. 7, 1947 and had been a life-long resident of the city. She was a graduate of Clearview High School as a member of the Class of 1966.

Mrs. Csincsak had been employed as a Dental Assistant for Dr. David Rositano, D.D.S. in Lorain; she retired from that position in 2000. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post # 451 of Lorain and was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of AMVETS Post # 47.

In her free time Phyllis enjoyed going on oceanic cruises, reading, and babysitting her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Stephen L., by daughters Lara Csincsak of Lorain, and Cynthia Talbott (husband Michael) of Brownhelm Township, grandchildren Zachary, Jackson, and Jocelyn, and by her brother Alan Martin residing in Lagrange.

She was preceded in death by her father James Martin, by her mother Verna (nee Katrincsak), and by her sister Nancy Bentley.

Graveside services will be Saturday Oct. 10th, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery with the Reverend James Holmer, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion, presiding. Those attending are asked to gather along the main drive of the cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel.
