Kenneth D. Taylor, 50, Enjoyed Hunting and Fishing

Photo of Kenneth D. Taylor Kenneth D. Taylor, 50, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center in Lorain unexpectedly.

Mr. Taylor was born in Lorain, OH on Jan. 17, 1957 and was a lifelong resident.

He was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1975. He served as a sergeant in the US Air Force and attended Grace Baptist Church in Lorain.

Mr. Taylor worked as a STNA at Rae Ann Suburban in Westlake for 8 years. He had also been an emergency medical technician with both Physicians and Rural Metro Ambulance services for 12 years.

He was a member of the NRA, North American Hunting & Fishing Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and being out-of-doors.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife Joyce M. (nee Parker) Taylor, his mother Edith C. (nee Martin) Taylor, stepsons Billy C. Evans, Carl R. Evans both of Lorain, 10 step grandchildren and a brother Martin D. Taylor of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his father John O. Taylor and a brother Randolph Taylor of 2007.

Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 6 - 9 p.m..

Funeral services will be on Friday morning, Oct. 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Jay Roller, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman, OH.
