Margaret A. Carver, 79, Enjoyed Playing Cards
Margaret A. Tootsie Carver (nee Varga), 79 formerly of Lorain, passed away, Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 in the Renaissance Center of Olmsted Township.
Margaret was born Jan. 21, 1930 in Cleveland. She lived in Elyria before moving to Lorain in 1981. Margaret was a resident of Villa Camillus Nursing Home in Columbia Station for the past 5 years.
She enjoyed playing cards, working on jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her extended family.
She is survived by her sister Rosemary Morrison of Elyria and as well several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband of 27 years Thomas A. Carver in 1997, her parents Julius and Rose (nee Kovach) Varga and a sister Helen Lopez.
Her family will receive friends today, Tuesday from 10 a.m. until of service at 11 a.m. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277-8164. Reverend Robert Smalley, pastor of Grafton Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Columbia Township Cemetery.
