Kenneth Lee Brock Sr., 63, Enjoyed Working on Cars
Kenneth Lee Brock, Sr., 63 of Wakeman, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 in Southwest General Hospital, Middleburg Heights, Ohio after a short illness.
He was born June 15, 1946 in Broadhead, KY. He has been a Wakeman resident since 1974 moving from Lorain.
He worked as a assembler for Ford Automotive Plant in Lorain, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of the UAW, enjoyed working on cars and was a car collector.
He was survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy (nee Gentry) Brock; mother, Lula (nee Spoonamore) Brock of Amherst; son, Kenneth (Patricia) Brock, Jr. of Arlington, TX; 2 daughters, Darla (Dale) Wiley of Ashland, and Stephanie Brock of Vermilion, grandchildren, Brittany, Tim, & Ryan Siwicki, Amber & Nathan Brock, Brittany Wiley and Brianna & Courtney Carroll; brothers, Donald Brock of Lorain, Wendell Brock of SC, Jeff Brock of Vermilion, Rick Brock CA, Jack Brock of Amherst; sisters, Barb Gonzalez of Lorain, Linda McGee, TN, Betty Williams of Amherst, Jeannie Brock of Amherst, Bonnie Tanner of Vermilion, and Lisa DeWitt of Amherst.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Brock, a grandson, Aaron Wiley; brothers, Bobby and Jim Brock; and a son-in-law, David Carroll.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 5 - 9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at 12 noon with Reverends Kay Gentry and Joshua Budka will co-officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
