Patricia A. Engler, 57, Enjoyed Playing Bingo
Patricia A. Engler (nee Mucciante), age 57, of Lorain, died Sunday Nov. 8th, 2009 at her home in the company of her family following a seven month battle with cancer.
Pat was born in Lorain on Oct. 6, 1952 and had been a life-long resident of the city.
She attended St. Stanislaus Parochial School and was a 1970 graduate of Admiral King High School where she played drums in the school’s marching band. She went on to attend the Northern Institute of Cosmetology and was employed as a licensed cosmetologist at the former Marcel’s Beauty Salon. Mrs. Engler was later employed as a sales associate for both Connie’s Interiors and Lifestyle Interiors.
In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo as well as attending local car shows and cruise-ins with her husband.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years Thomas J., along with her son Michael P. Engler and daughter Erika A. Engler both of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her father Michael Mucciante in 1999 and by her mother Melvina (nee Schrenkel) Mucciante in 1995.
Visitation will be Wednesday Nov. 11th, 2009 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Joseph West, O.F..M. Conv., Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church presiding. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
