Richard A. Gillis McCoy, 42, Enjoyed Motorcycles
Richard A. Gills McCoy, 42 of Lorain passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 in Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center, Lorain from complications of a ten-year battle with cancer.He was born December 24,1967 in Lorain. He was a life long resident.
He worked for Ganley Chrysler in North Olmsted. Rick enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He also enjoyed NASCAR and football. Rick was well liked by everyone.
He will be dearly missed by his son Michael A. McCoy of Lorain, daughter Cassidy Wacker of Lorain, mother Mary Ann McCoy of Lorain, brother Richard Gills of Lorain, grand father Luis Concepcion of Lorain, his aunt Marge (Eugene) McCoy of Lorain, uncle Michael (Julie) Molnar of Erie, Pennsylvania, cousins, a host of friends and a dear friend Michelle Collins of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Gills and grandparents Mike and Julia Molnar and Helen Concepcion.
Rick's family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until time of his funeral service at 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277-8164. Rev Alana Kelley, Pastor of Magyar United Church of Christ, Elyria will officiate. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.
