William E. Hedrich, 78, Enjoyed Golfing
William "Bill" E. Hedrich, 78, of Vermilion died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, surrounded by his family at Community Health Partners, Lorain.
He was born Feb. 4, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wis. and has been a Vermilion resident since 2002 moving from Clearwater, FL.
Bill worked as an Insurance Manager for Firemans Fund Insurance Company, Tampa, FL for over 15 years, retiring in 1991.
He enjoyed music, reading, and crossword puzzles. His true passions were golfing and spending time with his wife and children.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Nina (nee Whyte) Hedrich; sons, Mark (Maura) Hedrich of Clearwater, FL, Nick (Cathy) Hedrich of Atlanta, GA, and Paul Hedrich of Safety Harbor, FL; daughters, Carol (Kent) Kaiser of New Port Richey, FL, Mary (Bruce) McDougald of Atlanta, GA, and Amy (Kevin) MacKay of Cary, NC; and 11 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Bernadine (nee Jakubek) Hedrich in 1985 and parents, Walter and Elizabeth (nee Kitzerow) Hedrich.
Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, from 6 p.m. until the time of a short service at 8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Private inurnment will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wis.
