Constance J. Hunter, 70, Enjoyed Teaching Sunday School

Photo of  Constance J. Hunter Constance J. "Connie" Hunter, (nee Parker) passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.

Mrs. Hunter was born in Butler on Jan. 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Clinton E. and Rachel E (nee Daugherty) Parker.

She was a member of Bethel Chapel in Lorain: she wrote poetry, taught Sunday School both primary and adult levels, loved to read and enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters Kimberly J Carter, Jamey M Worthen both of Lorain, grandchildren Misty Selmon, Rachel Wagner, Tevin Wagner, great grandson KeShawn Selmon, sister Esta Lee Strauser of Mt. Vernon, and brother Roger D Parker of Lorain.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband Marvin L. Hunter in 1973, sisters Louise Baker, Marjorie Riel, brother Richard (Dick) Parker and Ronald Parker.

Friends may call on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Funeral Services will be Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Lorri Bandagski, pastor of the Bethel Chapel, officiating.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the family at the funeral home.
