Nicholas A. Williams, 23, Enjoyed Four-Wheeling and Kayaking
Nicholas A. Nik Williams, age 23, of Elyria, died Saturday March 6, 2010 at Cleveland Metro Health Hospital.
He was born at Lorain St. Joseph Hospital on June 14, 1986 to his mother Karen (Gibson) Simmons and father Steven Michael Williams.
Nik attended the Elyria City Schools. He graduated with honors in 2004 as a member of the first class to complete all four years at the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT).
He was employed as an arborist in the tree service industry.
Nik possessed a great love of music and art. He also enjoyed being outdoors especially four-wheeling and kayaking. He found the greatest joy in spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his Mom and Pops Karen and Jim Simmons of Elyria, his brother Zak of Elyria, step-sister Sarah Zigon (Alex) of Elyria, and nephew Ty Zigon. He is also survived by family and friends too numerous to name but always remembered.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his best girl Mia (a Neapolitan Mastiff), his little dog Rocco, as well as other pets including Snake and Mr. Crab.
He was preceded in death by his father Steven Michael Williams.
A celebration of Nik’s life will be observed on Saturday March 20th with visitation from 3 - 7 p.m. in the Oakwood Plaza Hall, 4111 Pearl Ave., Lorain. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
