Edna R. Zust-Personke , 95, Enjoyed Crafts and Bingo
Edna R. Zust-Personke (nee Lugosky), 95, of Lorain, died Tuesday March 9, 2010 at her home while under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born Jan. 27, 1915 in Cleveland and had resided in Lorain since December 2009. Edna had lived in Avon from 1950-1963 and in Lake Wales, Florida for 45 years.
Edna was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion. She enjoyed crafts and bingo.
She is survived by her children Diana Boepple (Henry) of Vermilion, Constance Kroll (Donald) of Laughlin, Nevada, Richard Zust and Daniel Zust, both of Coupeville, Washington, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and sister Lois Tekavic. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 45 years Anthony Zust, second husband of 3 years Carl Personke, parents Emil and Wanda Lugosky (nee Rothenburg), brother Fred Lugosky, sisters Martha Forbush, Malita Lugosky and Ruth Gingell and grandson Timothy Zust.
Cremation will take place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion at a later date. The ashes will be interred in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
Arrangements are under the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
