Mary Wilma Black, 90 , Enjoyed Spending Time with her Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren
Mary Wilma Black (nee Tressel), age 90 of Seguin TX, formerly of Lorain, died Tuesday March 16, 2010 in Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home in Seguin.She was born July 11, 1919 in Lorain and resided there until moving to Seguin six years ago.
Mrs. Black worked as a bookkeeper for her family business Black’s Muffler Service. She also worked for the U.S. Air Force in Cleveland, J.C. Penney Co., Firestone Tire Center, and Al Lou and Jim’s Auto Parts Store.
She was a member of the former St. Joseph Church in Lorain, it’s Mother’s Club and Ladies Guild. She was a member of the NCCW, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Raymond) Niskey of Seguin, TX, her grandchildren Raymond Niskey Jr., and Stacey DeSilvester, great-grandchildren Brandon and Nicole Niskey, and Blake, Angelina, and Olivia DeSilvester, and great-great grandchildren Chelsea and Rozlyn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe in 1989, sisters Sr. Mary Alma Tressel O.P., and Ella Mae Curtis, and her parents William and Margaret Tressel.
Graveside services will be Tuesday March 23, at 10 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Deacon Lou Maldonado will officiate.
Memorial contributions if desired can be made the donor’s favorite charity.
