Martha C. Fundak , 83, Owner of Fundak�s Country Inn

She was born Jan. 7, 1927 in Lorain and had resided in Elyria since 1950.

Martha graduated from Clearview High School with the class of 1945. She was the owner of Fundak’s Country Inn in LaGrange for 25 years retiring in 2000.

Martha was a past member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elyria. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, dollhouses and collectibles.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years George S. Fundak, daughter Marsha Ann Fundak of Amherst, son Mark S. Fundak of Elyria, grandchildren: Patrick Smith (Heidi) of Elyria, Wendi Black of Columbia Station, Brandt Fundak (Candy) of Cleveland, Matthew Fundak of Willoughby, Jeffery Black (Kelly) of Knoxville, TN and Steven McCroskey of Amherst, great grandchildren Cassidi Pullin, Gavin Smith, Noah Fundak, Henry Fundak, Aidan Black, Ernest Watson IV and Garrett Watson, sister Esther A. Naples of Lorain and brother George J. Breznenik of Medway, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Anna Breznenik (nee Dropco).

The family will receive friends Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Laurie Miller, pastor, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
