Guillermo Lopez, 92, US Steel Employee
Guillermo Lopez, 92, of Lorain, died Sunday April 18, 2010 at his home surrounded by his children.He was born June 2, 1917 in Humaco, Puerto Rico and had resided in Lorain for 62 years.
Guillermo worked at US Steel in Lorain in the supply store.
He was preceded in death by his wife Arcadia Lopez, sons Avelino Lopez, Guillermo Lopez, Jr and Joseph Lopez and grandson Andre Lopez.
He is survived by his children Carmen Maria Cruz of Florida, Carmen Rosa Sanchez of Puerto Rico, Hector M. Lopez and Richard Lopez, both of Lorain and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service was held at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
Arrangements were under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
