Marie Chochol, 87, Enjoyed Crocheting & Baking

Marie Chochol (nee Puskas), 87, of Lorain, died Monday May 31, 2010 at the Kingston of Vermilion.

She was born February 8, 1923 in Czechoslovakia and had resided in Lorain since 1946 moving from Canada.

Marie was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Sheffield Township where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women's Guild.

She enjoyed crocheting and baking.

She is survived by her children Kenneth Chochol (Jill) of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Sandra J. Arapp (John) of Uniontown, Ohio and Sharon M. Nowicki (Don) of Lorain and grandchildren Jason Arapp, Breanne Nowicki and Brent Nowicki. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Chochol in 2004, son Kevin Chochol in 1997, parents John and Maria Puskas (nee Suster) and brother John Puskas.

Private family services were held. Burial was in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.

Arrangements were under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
