Theresa Pauline Arendt, 90, Enjoyed Reading

Theresa Pauline Arendt (nee Fill), age 90, of Lorain, died Monday May 31st at the Avon Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility.

Mrs. Arendt was born in Lorain on December 10, 1919 and had been a life-long resident of the city. She was a graduate of Lorain High School as a member of the Class of 1937.

Theresa was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lorain; at the time of her passing she was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst.

In her free time she enjoyed reading, baking, and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughter Theresa (Rolland) Moore, and sons Kenneth (Theresa), Allen (Linda), Joseph (Chris), and Tony. Additional survivors include grandchildren Amy Arendt, Joseph Arendt, Tracy Arendt, Kristen Petruzzelli, Kevin Arendt, Erin Schuartz, Brian Arendt, and David Arendt, along with great grandchildren Amanda, Alexis, Austin, Holden, Grace, William, Anthony, Ava, and Malory, and great great granddaughter Mina.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, parents Andrew and Theresa (nee Lipka) Fill, brothers Andrew and Anthony Fill, and sister Apolina Fill.

Family graveside services will be conducted Thursday in Calvary Cemetery with the Reverend Lawrence Martello, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
