Scott Patrick McKenna, 51, Avid FIsherman

He was born in Elyria on August 5, 1958 to H. Jeanne and Thomas L. McKenna, Jr. Scott and his parents moved to Oberlin in 1972, where he graduated from high school in 1976. He also attended Bluffton College.

He was an athlete participating in football, basketball, soccer and baseball at both the high school and collegiate levels. He also greatly
enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his sister, E. Lee Lander of Elyria, brother Thomas McKenna of Medina, three nieces, three great nephews and two great nieces.

A memorial service is planned for July 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the St. Paul United Church of Christ, 9715 E. River Street, Elyria.

Memorial donations may be made to the Oberlin Public Library, 65 South Main Street, Oberlin, Ohio 44074-1626.
