Efrain Adorno, 75, Enjoyed Playing Dominoes and Fishing
Efrain Adorno, 76 of Lorain, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Louis Stokes VA Medical Center - Wade Park Campus, Cleveland following a brief illness.He was born January 29, 1934 in Ciales, Puerto Rico. He moved to Chicago from New Jersey in 1967. He made Lorain his home in 1993.
Mr. Adorno retired in 1990 from Bally Manufacturing Corporation in Chicago. He served in the Army in Korea during the Korean War. He enjoyed playing dominoes and fishing.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters Nilza Mulero of Lorain, Maritza Sanchez, Nidiam Adorno and Evelyn Vega all of Chicago, his sons Efrain Adorno, Jr. of Lorain and Richard Adorno of Chicago, sisters Lucy Adorno of Lorain and Irma Robles of Puerto Rico, brother Idel Adorno of Puerto Rico, 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
His parents Leonardo Adorno and Camilla Rosario and a brother Jorge Adorno preceded him in death.
His family will receive friends Tues. from 4 until time of the wake service at 7 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
He will be taken to Chicago for funeral services and burial in Mt. Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, Illinois.
