Richard A. Toth, 67, Enjoyed Fishing & Boating

Richard A. Toth, Sr., 67, of Elyria, died Saturday July 2, 2010 in the emergency room at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria after a long illness.

He was born July 22, 1942 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Elyria area resident.

Richard graduated from Elyria Catholic High School and then served with the US Navy.

He was the owner/operator of Toth Drywall for over 30 years retiring in 2006.

He enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sons Richard A. Toth, Jr and John W. Toth (Julie), both of Elyria, father John A. Toth of Elyria and brother Raymond Toth of Lorain. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen L. Toth (nee Polesko) in 1992.

The family will receive friends Monday 7-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 41295 N. Ridge Rd., Elyria Twp. The Rev. James Ols, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
