Martha M. Moore, 95, Enjoyed Crafts
Martha M. Moore (nee Hobbs), 95, of Lorain, died Wednesday July 7, 2010 surrounded by her family at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.She was born February 22, 1915 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Martha was a graduate of Lorain High School. She worked as a cook for Clearview Schools, served as president of the Clearview PTA and was president of the Lorain County Council for county schools.
In 1990 Martha appeared on the Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion show. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her children Karen Semrau (Bob) of Lorain, Donna Sisk (Randy) of Virginia and Robert Moore (Dee) of Lorain, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Earl Moore in 1989, parents John and Jessie Hobbs (nee Baker), sister Loretta Brest and brother John Hobbs.
Private family funeral services were held. The Rev. Bob Chevalier, chaplain of New Life Hospice of St. Joseph in Lorain, officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.

Arrangements were under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
