Mary Ann McKittrick, 84, Enjoyed Arts and Crafts

Mary Ann (nee Kaschalk) McKittrick, 84, of Lorain passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Olmsted Manor Nursing Home following a long illness.

Mrs. McKittrick was born in Nanty Glo, PA on January 19, 1926, the daughter of the late Steve and Mary (nee Chernisky) Kaschalk. She has been a resident of Lorain since 1967.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mary Mother of God Church in Lorain and attended St. Anthony of Padua Cathollic Church, frequently.

Mrs. McKittrick enjoyed arts and crafts, especially crocheting, cooking and playing bingo.

She is survived by her daughters Carolyn (Ron) Eitner of Lorain, Leanne (Mark) Humphrey of Peoria, Arizona, her sons George Krejci of, Michigan., Steve Krejci of Parma, Michael McKittrick of Berea, grandchildren: Candace, Benjamin, Rhonda, Lisa, Michelle, Dennis, 7 great grandchildren, sisters Helen Giglio of Independence, Margaret Hoffman of Brookpark, Joan Davis of Naples, Florida., Millie Natalie of Berea, a brother John Francis Kaschalk of Moorpark, California and many other loving relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael T. McKittrick in December of 1992, and brothers Steve Kaschalk, and James Kaschalk.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain Rev. Richard Hudak, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, officiating.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Hospice, 9775 Rockside Rd, Ste 270, Valley View, OH 44125.
