John R. Feeney, 77, He was a Cartoon Artist and Enjoyed Making Caricatures
John R. Feeney, 77 of Lorain, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in his home following a brief illness.
He was born October 27, 1932 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. In 1959 he made Lorain his home.
Mr. Feeney retired as an inspector at the Ohio Ford Truck Plant in Avon in 2008. He worked there, and the Lorain Ford Assembly Plant for 48 years.
He was a cartoon artist and enjoyed making caricatures.
He is survived by his son Tim Feeney of Lorain and a brother Jim Feeney of Clarksburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 Years Rosemary (nee Zapp) Feeney in 1997, his parents Richard M. and Margaret (nee Fleming) Feeney and a sister Anita.
A graveside service will be Friday, October 8, 2010 in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst Township. Where the Disabled American Veterans Louis Paul Proy Chapter 20, Lorain will conduct military honors.
