Juanita M. Rahotina, 96, She Enjoyed Camping, Animals and Reading
Juanita M. Rahotina (nee Traxler), 96, of Sheffield Village, died Tuesday August 31, 2010 at an Adult Care by Sandy residence in Lorain.
She was born February 18, 1914 in Sheffield Village and had been a lifelong Sheffield Village resident.
Juanita graduated from Brookside High School in 1932. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, animals and reading.
She is survived by her daughter Gayle Herchler (Neil) of Florence and Pete Rahotina (Elaine) of Sheffield Village. She was preceded in death by her husband William Rahotina, grandson Jason Rahotina, father Lawrence Traxler, mother Lulu Traxler-Jewett (nee Lapoint) and brothers John and Kip Traxler.
Cremation will take place. The ashes will be interred in Garfield Cemetery in Sheffield Village.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
