Cleon Calverts Elliott Sr., 74, Enjoyed Spending Time with His Family and Playing Cards
Cleon Calverts Elliott Sr., 74, of Lorain went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic following a long illness.
Mr. Elliott was born in London, KY on January 3, 1936, he moved to Lorain in the late 1950's.
He was the owner/operator of the former Elliott's Family Market in Lorain until 1985 and the Elliott Construction Co. also in Lorain. He also enjoyed playing cards in his spare time.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his children, granddaughter Cherelle Elliott, who was the star of his life, and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also survived by three sisters and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Roy and Nellie (nee Gilbert) Elliott, a brother and two sisters.
Services were private and burial was at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
