Cynthia Marie Marks, 54, Enjoyed Golf, Cruises and Cooking

She was born July 19, 1956 in Lorain, and has been a Vermilion resident since she was 10 years old.
A graduate of Toledo University she had been the installment loan manager of Lorain National Bank for 20 years, a long time employee of Vermilion Country Club and a classified ad specialist for the Sandusky Register.
Cindy had an extensive collection of Longaberger baskets, and she enjoyed playing golf, travel, cruises, and cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Roger Marks; her parents, Arnold and Marie (nee Stamatis) Pena; sister, Lori Bartlett and her companion, Jim Johnson of Huron; 3 brothers Mark (Susan) Pena, Terry (Donna) Pena, and Rick Pena all of Vermilion; nieces and nephews, Hubie Bartlett and Emily Plas, Daryl, Cheryl and Caryl Pena; Matt, Katie and Andy Pena; Tommy and Tara Pena; Brian Furr; Reid, Grant, and Luke Pena and great nephews, Jacob and Jack Plas.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David A. Pena in 1986.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday October 11, 2010 at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Joan Skelley-Watts will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
