Confesor ''Papi'' Natal, 81, Enjoyed Vegetable and Flower Gardens

He was born February 15, 1929 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. He came to Lorain in the early 1950's.
Mr. Natal retired in 1993 from the Ford Engine Plant in Brookpark. He worked there for 22 years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers 1250, Brookpark. He enjoyed raising roosters, watching boxing and baseball. He also enjoyed his vegetable and flower gardens.
He will be missed by his sons William Diaz, Jr. and Jorge L. Diaz both of Lorain, David (Mary )Diaz of Torrance, California and Angel Casiano of Florida; daughter Margarita (Oscar) Figueroa of Lorain; brother Ventura Natal of Lorain; sister Margarita Natal of Youngstown; granddaughter and caregiver Christina (Shannon) Lee of Lorain, other grandchildren Ernesto Gonzalez, Rafael Figueroa, Lauren Figueroa, Marcella Southard, , Lorraine Diaz, David Diaz, Jr., Dominic Diaz, Julia Diaz and Angel Casiano; and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 9 years Lydia (nee Roriguez) Natal in 1999, his first wife of 30 years Carmen G. (nee Fonseca) Natal in 1983; parents Reyes and Filomena Natal; brother Salvador Natal; sister Primitiva Natal and Gloria Natal.
His family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 6 P.M. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Where closing prayers will be Monday 8:45 A.M. in the funeral home, then Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
