Flash Gordon Proctor, 74, Enjoyed Turkey Shoots, Fishing & Hunting
Flash Gordon Proctor, 74, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at after a short illness.
He was born June 16, 1936 in Belle, West Virginia and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 34 years moving from Cleveland.
Flash worked on the Chrome Assembly for Ford Automotive Plant in Avon and Lorain for 30 years, retiring in September 30, 2000.
Flash enjoyed turkey shoots, as well as hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy (nee Rogers) Proctor, 2 daughters, Lisa (Mike) Taylor of Wakeman, and Tina (Mark) Clark of Amherst; 3 sons, Kenneth Proctor of Lorain, Charles (Gail) Proctor and Mark (Tara) Proctor both of Elyria, 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Norma Ash of New London, Phyllis Thacker, of Ypsilanti, MI, Ruth Ash of Ypsilanti, MI, Brenda Payne of Belle, West Virginia, and Sheena Totten of Glasgow, West Virginia; 2 brothers, Calvin Proctor of Cleveland and Wayne Proctor of Vermilion and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Irene (nee Butterworth) Proctor, a brother, Grover Proctor and a sister, Lilly Christie.
Private services were held.
