Arminia ''Nene'' Sandoval, 74, Enjoyed Baking and Gardening
Arminia "Nene" Sandoval (nee Aguliar) 74 of Lorain, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 in EMH Regional Health Center, Elyria following a brief illness.She was born April 4, 1936 in Lorain. She was a lifelong resident of Lorain. She graduated from Clearview High School in 1954.
Mrs. Sandoval worked as a receptionist for Dr. B. C. Myers in Lorain in the mid 1950’s.
Nene was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Lorain and the Guadalupe Society. She was also a life member of the Mexican Mutual Society, Lorain. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, watching old movies and Christmas music any time of year. She was a most loving, caring and giving mother and wife.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Samuel Sam Sandoval of Lorain. They just celebrated their 52nd Anniversary October 25. Her daughters Andrea V. Sandoval of Lorain and Maggie M. (Michael) Nejadfard of Elyria; sisters Tomasa Mickey Silva and Josephine Garcia both of Lorain; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Julio and Andrea (nee Garcia) Aguliar; son Michael Sandoval in 2006; brother William Aguliar; sisters Cruse Romero and Margaret Torrero.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Where closing prayers will be Thursday at 9:30 A.M. then Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Frances Cabrini Parish at Saint John Church Homewood Drive and RT 57 (Grove Avenue), Lorain. Rev Fathe Curtic Kondik will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
