Edna M. Molina, 75, Her Greatest Love was Her Grand and Great Grandchildren
Edna M. Molina (nee Torres) 75 of Lorain, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 in E.M.H. Regional Medical Center, Elyria following long illness.
She was born October 31, 1935 in Lares, Puerto Rico. She had been a Lorain resident since 1951.
Mrs. Molina retired from Whittier Jr. High School, Lorain. She worked there for 30 years as a housekeeper.
Edna was a member of the Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. She had a huge collection of frog figurines. She enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens and crocheting. Her greatest love was to spend time with her grand and great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her sons Luis (Debra) Molina of Amherst, Richard and Ellis Molina both of Lorain; her daughter Nilsa (Luis) Martinez of Lorain; grandchildren Angela Acevedo, Dominic Molina, Anjennette, Luis, Jeremiah Martinez and Luis Manuel Martinez, Jr.; 10 great grandchildren and 8 step-brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Luis A. "Tony" Molina in 2007; her parents Angel Jesus and Guadalupe Maria (nee Del Valle) Torres; brother Angel Jesus Torres, Jr. and a step-brother.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277-8164. Where closing prayers will be Thursday at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home, then Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father Willaim A. Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
