Diane M. Betchey, 51, Enjoyed Garage Sales

Mrs. Betchey was born in Lorain on August 7, 1958, the daughter of the Lucy A. (nee Duncan) Lee and William J. Lee, who survives.

She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the Class of 1977. She enjoyed garage sales, craft bazaars, cookie walks and spending time with her family.

She was employed as a p/c board assembler at the former Marconi's for 28 years, with perfect attendance for 26 years.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Gary J. Betchey, daughters Carrie L. Betchey, Melanie A. Betchey both of Lorain, a grandson Austin M. Shahedehher, (and expecting two other grandchildren), her father, William J. Lee of Lorain, sisters, Brenda and Betty Lee both of Lorain, brothers, Michael Lee and William Lee, Jr. both of Lorain, and a step daughter, Kristina Shideler of Valparaiso, Indiana.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother David Lee in 2009.

Friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. Funeral Services, in the funeral home, will be at 11:00 am on Monday, December 20, 2010, with Bro. Paul Parsons and Sis. Jamie Santos, of the Church of God-United in Christ Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township, OH.
