James C. Langham, 74, US Army Veteran, Enjoyed Bowling, Golfing and Gardening

James C. Langham, 74, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness.

Born January 9, 1936 in Indiana County, PA he had been a Vermilion resident for the past 49 years moving from Pennsylvania.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

James worked as an electrician for Ford Motor Co., Lorain for 31 years retiring in 1992.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregation, Vermilion and AMVETS Post #22. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years Mary (nee Mundy) Langham; daughter, Myra Al Kurabi of Vermilion; sons, Kenneth (Jeannette) Martin of Lorain, Wayne (Theresa) and Stanley Langham both of Vermilion; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eldon Langham of Vermilion, Robert Langham of PA, and Gary Langham of Indiana, PA; sisters, Meredith Budinger of Jersey Shore, PA, and Gloria "Susie" Hudzick of Commodore, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estey and Ada Belle (nee Trimble) Langham; daughter, Sandra Lee Anderson on Dec. 18, 2010; and brothers, Larry and John Langham and sister, Elvira Lundberg.

Friends may call Monday, December 27,2010 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 990 State Street, Vermilion, Ohio Reverend Wendell Brooker, officiating. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
