Willie Earl Fultz, 85, US Army Veteran, Enjoyed Spending Time with His Family, Golfing and Travelling

Born September 28, 1925 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio he had been a Vermilion resident for the past 66 years.
Bill was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp. serving during World War II.
He worked as an Industrial Engineer for New Departure-Hyatt, Sandusky for over 25 years retiring in 1984. He had been a volunteer fire fighter for Vermilion.
He had attended the United Church of Christ Congregation, Vermilion. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post# 397 where he had been very acitve holding the position as Post Commander at one time. Bill enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife, fishing, working with his hands, and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Patricia "Pat" (nee Henkes); sons, David (Linda) Fultz of Vermilion and Randy (Janet) Fultz of Cincinnati; daughters, Susan (Robert) Bortel of Bowling Green and Claudia (John) Whitehall of Powell, OH; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Hecky of Covington, KY and Betty Farris of Cuyahoga Falls. .
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Leilah (nee Jones) Fultz and a brother, David Fultz.
The Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct military honors followed by a memorial service on Monday Dec. 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089. The Reverend Louis Bertoni will officiate.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Legion 2713 St. Rt. 60 Vermilion, OH 44089.
