Ramon Reyes, 86, Enjoyed Gardening
Ramon Reyes 86, of Lorain went home to his savior, Friday, January 07, 2011 in New Life Hospice Center, Lorain.
He was born July 26, 1924 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. He came to Lorain in 1961.
He retired from Nordson Corporation in 1977. He also worked for Thompson Greenhouse in Westlake for 15 years.
Ramon was a member of Sacred Hearth Chapel, Lorain were he was a member of the Groupo Carismáticas. He enjoyed gardening and working and especially his dog Lennox.
He will be deeply missed by his son Miguel (Sharon) Reyes of Columbia Station; daughter Nilda (Luis) Morales of Lorain; brother Esteban Reyes of Barceloneta; sister Mariana Reyes of New Port Richie, Florida and a grandson Israel (Tress) Morales of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Julia (nee Ayala) Reyes in 2006; parents Martin and Juana (nee Melendez) Reyes; brothers Martin and Pedro Reyes; sisters Elisa and Isabel Reyes.
His family will receive friends Monday from 10 until time of service at 11 A.M. in The House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
