Ann C. Pozega, 99, Enjoyed Gardening & Sewing
Ann C. Pozega (nee Klasnik) 99 of Lorain passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 in The Gardens of French Creek Assisted Living, Avon Ohio following a brief illness.
She was born October 25, 1911 in Lorain where she has lived her entire life.
Ann was a homemaker who was a member of Saint Vitus Church, Lorain until its recent closing. She was member of Croatian Fraternal Union and a long time member of the Croatian Club, Lorain. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, working puzzles and reading.
Ann will be dearly missed by her cousins Helen Pozega and Patricia Witkowski both of Lorain and many other cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years Matt in 1991; her parents Joseph in1958 and Mary (nee Canjar) in1956 Klasnik.
Her family will receive friends Thursday January 13 from 9 until time of her funeral service at 11 A.M. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Rev. Father John C. Retar Pastor of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, Lorain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
