Wanda A. Gascoigne, 92, Enjoyed Crafts and Decorating Cakes

2011 at Anchor Lodge Nursing home of natural causes.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles (Don) Gascoigne, after fifty-seven years of marriage.

Wanda is survived by son Chuck (Carolee) Gascoigne and daughter Karen (Michael) Gormley. Grandmother of Gwendolyn Gascoigne, Sheri Ann (Greg) Hey and Todd M. Gormley. Great grandmother of Noah and Natalie Hey. Sister of June Knox and sister-in-law of Ann Gascoigne.

Aunt, Great Aunt and Great Great Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Wanda lived most of her life on the East side of Lorain until she and her late husband moved into Anchor Lodge Assisted Living in 1996. Wanda was a life time member of Delaware Avenue Methodist Church, American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post 30 and Past President of the Lorain Firefighters Women's Auxiliary. She forever will be remembered with her love of family, neighbors and children. Wanda enjoyed crafts, decorating cakes and her doll collection.

Funeral services will be held on what would have been Wanda's 93rd birthday, Monday, February 14, 2011 at Lorain Lighthouse Methodist Church, 3015 Meister Rd, Lorain. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. with services following, Reverend Greg Sellers officiating. Burial will be at
Ridge Hill Memorial Cemetery, Lorain. A luncheon reception will be held at the
church immediately afterwards.

Wanda's children would like to extend heart felt appreciation and gratitude to the caring staff at Anchor Lodge Assisted Living and Nursing Home, members of the Lorain Lighthouse Methodist Church and most grateful to Ella Poplar, Sylvia Buckholz, Roberta and Bill Gormley, who faithfully visited and cared for Mom.
