Naomi May Warner, 83, Co-Owner/Operator of Warner Floor Coverings

Photo of Naomi May Warner Naomi May Warner (nee Grossenbaugh), age 83 of Wellington passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 10, 2011 following a long illness.

She was born July 25, 1927 in Cleveland and had been a resident of Wellington since 2001 moving there from LaGrange. She had also been a long time resident of North Ridgeville.

Naomi was co-owner/operator of Warner Floor Covering with stores in Grafton, Avon and North Ridgeville retiring in 1998 after 52 years in business.

She was a former member of the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, North Ridgeville and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Clair “Red” Warner, sons, Glenn Warner of Wellington, Clifford (Bonnie)Warner of Elyria and Dennis (Sherri) Warner of LaGrange, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, sisters, Mary Liocie of Hudson and Adaleine Gutzky of North Ridgeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie (Maybauer) and George Grossenbaugh, sisters, Jane Howe, Ruth Grossenbaugh, Ethel Heckman and brothers, George, Donald and Roy and Clifford Grossenbaugh.

Friends will be received from 2-5 PM Sunday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday. Interment will follow at Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon.
