Vivian L. Glover, 74, Enjoyed Camping, Playing Cards and Bingo

Photo of Vivian L. Glover Vivian L. Glover (nee Gaster) 74, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in New Life Hospice Center of Saint Joseph, Lorain following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Glover was born May 5, 1936 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She had been a Lorain resident for 58 years. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, bingo and loved Deal or No Deal.

She will be dearly missed by her son James (Janet) Glover of Sellersburg, Indiana and Jesse T. (Connie) Glover of Vermilion; daughters Connie J. (Vern) Jones of Amherst and Terri A. (Eddie) Peterson of Lorain; brother George "Bill" Gaster of Uniontown; grandchildren Devon Glover, Trevor Glover, Christine Peterson, Jamie Gottfriend. Amanda Clark, James Glover, Jr., William Glover, Christopher Glover, Tanya Glover and Katie Caywood and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years James E. Glover in 1998, her parents Eugene Gaster and Erma Harris Baird; brothers Jack and Harold Gaster; sisters Chloe Kolosky, Reta Lewis, Bonnie Fike and Dolores Lint.

Her family will receive friends Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277-8164. Her funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Beth McKee, Chaplain of Elyria Wesleyan Village, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
